My wife wanted an aerobics floor in her new personal training room I built for herm so I decided to call a flooring contractor to see if he could install a floating floor with 2 layers of soft foam under it.
He told me it couldn’t be done, but I did my own research, I went to Sam’s Club one day to get some gym supplies and found a Bamboo flooring with the foam attached to it and I got the idea of putting a separate layer on the floor first, then I installed the Bamboo floor on top of that.
Need less to say, it works exactly like an expensive aerobics floor that cost at least $15 a foot compared to the $3 a foot I paid for mine, but I did install mine myself, but the great thing is the ease of installation, the floor snaps together, and all Sam’s clubs sell it. They sell a dark and light color, and its beautiful flooring.
