How to Start and/or Build a 24 hour Fully Automated Fitness Center, Gym, or Health Club from scratch, including quality exercise equipment, tanning beds, gym software, 24 hour access system, security system, and office equipment, just like I did

Learn from Shannon C. Cook, a current gym owner, general contractor, commercial building landlord, and Fitness Marketing Expert, how to go from your IDEA to the Grand Opening of your Fitness Center.

Also, how to convert an existing gym into a 24 hour fitness center by installing a 24 hour automated door access system, 911 system, and security cameras, and if that’s not enough, the gym door access system comes with a gym and fitness center management software system

I’m so positive you will know everything about how to start a gym form scratch after reading this book, that i’m giving you 182.5 days, that’s 6 months to try it, and if you dont like it, return it for a full refund

Why listen to me?

Because I did everything wrong before I did anything right, but fortunately I stuck with it and found some very successful businessmen to guide me, and innovated by turning my gym into a 24 hour fully automated gym, then spent over $15,000 to learn marketing the old fashioned way.

If you want to know all the wrong things I did, here they are some.

  • When I opened I picked the wrong location
  •  used the wrong subcontractors
  •  bought exercise equipment from the wrong people and also bought the wrong equipment
  •  finished my concrete floor with too little sealer
  •  painted some rooms the wrong colors for the right psychological effect (which you’ll learn)
  • Made the tanning bed rooms too small
  • Offered childcare when I wasn’t set up for it correctly
  • Hired the wrong employees
  • Hired the wrong personal trainers
  • Installed the wrong size air conditioner
  • Signed contracts for phone lines that I could have negotiated for a lot less
  • Used the wrong lighting
  • Got sued for $190,000 because of a contract that really didn’t exist (here’s where I made the biggest mistake in believing lady justice is blind, really justice has one eye open, and she’s looking for $$$ not justice), so learn what not to do.

I then turned my business around completely and figured out on my own what no one else would tell me, and I don’t blame them, after all, they learned the way I did.

How to Double or Triple your gym, health club, or fitness centers memberships for the new year?

“How to Double your gym, health club, or fitness centers memberships for the new year?”

It can be done! I did it last year, and even tripled my memberships in less than 3 months.

The tactics I used are not used by any other gym, health club, or fitness center around as far as i know. I know that in my city, the other gyms have laughed at some of the marketing tricks i use, but I don’t care, especially when my gym marketing tactics allowed me to increase my gym membership rates from $25 month to $45 month and tripled my membership base at the same time.

How did I do it?
I have over thirty articles that you can search on my site for free by going to the site and typing in a phrase in the white box in the upper right hand section and hit enter, that has a lot of the things i used to do all this but, you can get one on one consulting over the phone or the net through “skype” for the very small sum of $125 for an hour. You will no doubt get 10 times more than what it cost by being able to ask me any questions you have and learn from my many thousands of dollars of mistakes and the right moves i made also.

I will only be offering this price for a short while because i have been bombarded with so many request for consulting for free that i am trying to write my course on gym marketing to offer to the public and that will take all my time up and i will have to stop consulting for a while.

Write golf fitness or Bowling fitness marketing sales copy for your gym, fitness center, or health club to attract a different member types

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

Write golf fitness or Bowling fitness sales copy for your gym, fitness center, or health club to attract a different member types

If your looking to attract different types of members that normally don’t think they can benefit from a gym membership, look into marketing to the highly profitable niche’s such as Golf Fitness, or Bowling Fitness or any other unmarketed niche no one else thinks of, and advertise to them.

Start off with a headline like “Shave 2 strokes off your next game of Golf by exercising those particular muscles responsible for your Golf swing while improving concentration”

You can see how marketing to a unmarketed niche can bring in members you would never see otherwise. But make sure the sales copy is great, or you won’t catch their attention.

hope this helps. please post questions or comments.

Neon must have Fitness Center, Gym,Health Club Business Signage

If you want to attract business these days, you must do anything possible to catch prospects attention.

When i put my Open 24 Hours neon sign up for my gym, I got immediate results.

No matter what kind of gym you own, you cant afford NOT to have all the signage possible.

I increased my gym traffic by 15% just because of the neon sign i put up. People started coming in saying they didn’t know we were open 24 hours because of lack of cars in the parking lot at late night. I also added a blinker to my sign that really got attention.

The company above supplies great long lasting NEON and LED signs, please visit their site

Recession or Depression proof your gym, health club, or fitness business by doing these 5 things, including how to build your own wordpress site tutorials.

“Recession or Depression proof your gym, health club, or fitness business by doing these 5 things, including how to build your own wordpress site tutorials”

The thing i find it hardest to get across to new business owners and alot of old business owners is the fact that they might survive a recession but how much better could their business have been if they would have actually tried marketing.

Most people are just like the restaurant owner i once heard of; the first thing he let go of money wise when money got tight was the bug killer man, and it was the most important of all his business. If you don’t believe me, just go into a restaurant and see a roach. You will consider going back if you get bad service one time, but if you see a bug your gone for good!

Here’s another amazing thing i have discovered because i have done this thing myself; I would tell anyone that called trying to get me to advertise with them that i didn’t have the money, but i would spend money on other less important things. PLEASE hear me! You need to spend the money on the right marketing PERIOD!!!

  1. Start a website using WordPress:Its what you are reading now,its the easiest thing on the web to do and you can be up and going in minutes not days or months. here’s a great set of tutorials that will teach you how to get going with wordpress immediatley.Click Here!
  2. Putting an e-mail opt-in form on your website: so you can notify your prospects of information and gym membership offerings.
  3.  Start a referral program:that pays members money for refering others.
  4. Offer a money back guarantee! :this should be first really. i have only had one person take me up on this, and they didn’t even want their money back, but i made sure to give it back to them anyway, and asked for a testimonial from her about her getting her money back so i can use it in my marketing.
  5. Ask members what they want: It amazes me at the people in business that i say this to and they say it doesn’t matter what people say, they aren’t going to change that because they are stuck in thinking what they are doing is working better than giving the member what they want, and it might be working, but think about how much better it could be if you actually gave them what they want.
